Text Box: What are wedges and do I need them?
Wedges provide extra support on the backside of rain gutter to keep them from sagging and/or drooping. In most cases, you will not need them. With proper installation and maintenance, rain gutters can last 10 to 20 years or more.

How do I properly maintain my rain gutters?
Proper maintenance is basically cleaning out your rain gutters of any tree leaves, debris, dirt, bird’s nest and even trash. This allows the water to flow freely inside the rain gutters towards the downspouts. By maintaining your rain gutters, you also eliminate the added weight caused by standing water and/or debris, thus adding to the durability and life of your rain gutters. It is a good idea to check rain gutters every 3 to 6 months. Depending on the climate and surrounding environment, rain gutters should be cleaned every 1 to 5 years.

Do you offer rain gutter (and patio awning) maintenance services?
Yes. Not only will we clean out your rain gutters and flush the downspouts but we will check for any repairs that may be needed from normal wear and tear. DGI even offers bi-annual or annual maintenance agreements if desired. And as stated above, all cleanings and/or repairs are backed by a transferable 6-month workmanship warranty.

Do you repair rain gutters?
Yes. If the rain gutters are not badly damaged, it is possible to repair them. In most cases if there is little damage, if there is not enough slope, or if there is not enough pitch to the rain gutters they can be fixed without having to be replaced.

Do I need to put money down?
No. DGI never asks for money up front. We require payment upon completion of work, unless otherwise specified prior to the date of service.
