Text Box: How much do you charge?
DGI likes to quote prices once we meet with each customer for a better understanding of their specific job. Although each rain gutter company varies, we aim for the best prices without fluctuation due to the weather or time of year.

Will you come and give a price quotation or an estimate? IF YES, WHAT IS YOUR FEE?
DGI offers FREE on-site estimates to every customer. As a matter of fact, we recommend this service be performed for all of our jobs.
What is your labor warranty?
The State of Arizona requires all licensed contractors to carry a 2-year warranty on all labor pertaining to new installations. DGI has extended state’s minimum requirement and offer a transferable 5-year workmanship warranty on all newly installed materials. All repairs of existing materials not originally installed by DGI are warranted for 6-months from the date of service. Structural or foundation settling, acts of third parties, pre-existing conditions, or force majeure are excluded.
What about the material, does it have a warranty?
Yes. Manufactures’ warranty is dependant on the type of material that you choose. Most manufactures offer warranties from 20-100 years. DGI commonly installs materials that are backed by a transferable 100-year manufactures warranty.
What are seamless rain gutters?
Seamless rain gutters were designed to eliminate the old-style 10-foot sectional rain gutters, which are still used today by some "do-it-yourselfers" or for jobs requiring specific materials and/or sizes. Although, we give credit to those attempting this feat, seamless simply means … no more seams, sections, or headaches. There will always be “seams” in rain gutters if there are corners or lengths longer than normal to allow for proper expansion and contraction but the seamless method allows for them to be minimal.
Do I need rain gutters?
Rain gutters help to prevent all types of situations. Cracking of foundations, driveways, cool decks and sidewalks. Staining and sometimes even destroying stucco walls, brick walls, slump block walls, and wood. Flooding on patios, entryways, and garages. Slippery stairways, decks and walkways.
Are rain gutters attractive?
When installed properly and the closest accommodating color is used, rain gutters can be very attractive along with being a great selling point.
How many different colors do you offer?
The industry offers 20 to 30 different colors. Besides the standard baked-enamel aluminum, DGI also offers copper, stainless, and mill finishes along with KYNAR 500 and HYLAR 5000 materials. We can even paint-match some materials to your specific color.
Is it true that rain gutters help eliminate termites?
In most cases, yes! However, we do not like to use this as a scare tactic. Termites along with other pests and insects dissipate as communities develop.

What is the difference between 5-inch & 6-inch rain gutters?
There are two differences; (1) the cost, and (2) 6-inch rain gutters hold a larger volume of water. However, this does not guarantee that the water will flow properly.

How do I know if I need a 5-inch or 6-inch rain gutter?
If you have a shingle, flat, shake or a tile roof (with or without bird stop) with a 1" to 3" overhang, then a 5" rain gutter should be your choice. A company representative will help make this decision easier for you. DGI will NEVER recommend or “sell” you anything you don’t need!

How are rain gutters supported/hung?
There are two standard practices of supporting the rain gutters; (1) Hidden Hangers, and (2) Spikes. Hidden Hangers clip inside the rain gutters and are attached to the trim board or fascia using screws. Spikes are nails driven through the face of the rain gutter, then through a ferule and into the trim board or fascia. Spikes or hidden hangers should be installed every 2-feet. This will give the rain gutters very strong support.
Which method do you use in supporting rain gutters?
DGI installers are highly trained in both methods, the preference of one method over the other greatly depends on the situation. For example: if you want to drain a large amount of water into one area and do not have enough trim board or fascia, then hidden hangers will work best. This will allow for a generous slope to the rain gutter. It is always best to ask a company representative concerning this matter.

I heard that hidden hangers or spikes can come loose or fall out … IS THIS TRUE?
No, this is not always true. The number one cause of hidden hangers or spikes coming loose and/or falling out, is simply that the rain gutters are not properly maintained. Although hidden hangers and spikes have changed in durability over the years, they still have the same patented-design. The strength being greater now than ever before still depends on the size or length of the screws or spikes being used. Regardless of the strength of hidden hangers and spikes, rain gutters MUST be maintained!
